The Golden Emarat Story
The first Emirati artwork of its kind.
A small atelier creating Emirati heritage art - in real 24K gold.
The Story
From vision to timeless art.
Golden Emarat was built for one reason: to render the symbols of a nation in a material worthy of them. Not gold colour, and not a finish made to imitate the look - real 24-karat gold, so the work holds light with the depth only real 24K gold can have.
We will be honest with you: this is not easy to make. Every piece tests our patience and our standards, and there are faster, cheaper ways to do almost every step. We refuse them. When your name goes on something finished in real gold and meant to be handed down, you carry a responsibility to make it the very best - or not make it at all. So we choose the hard way, every time, on purpose.
The result is more than decoration. It is heritage, identity, and the enduring spirit of the Emirates, made into something you can hold. Every piece is issued with a signed Certificate of Authenticity, and made to be kept, gifted, and handed down.
The Art
Symbols worth keeping.
We do not invent symbols. We interpret the ones already woven into the Emirati story - the falcon, the flag, the Arabian horse, the emblem of the Union, the landmarks that named a skyline known across the world - each carrying meaning set down long before us, and each deserving to be treated with care.
Every shape is designed, cut, and sculpted into fine detail before a single layer of gold is laid down. The result is art that means something before it ever decorates a wall - a piece that reflects who you are and what you believe.
The Frames
Framed for a collectible.
A masterpiece deserves the perfect frame. Before framing, each golden piece is set against a backdrop of luxurious velvet that deepens its contrast and draws the eye into every detail.
The velvet is chosen first, then the frame. A black velvet setting behind a gold frame reads nothing like a white velvet setting behind the same gold. Four finishes, each with a solid, substantial profile built to frame a collectible rather than a print - chosen to suit the room it will live in.
The Process
From symbol to heirloom.
-
1
Design and metalwork
Every symbol is designed, cut, and shaped into intricate detail that captures the essence of Emirati heritage.
-
2
Real 24K gold
Every surface of the work is finished in real 24-karat gold - not gold colour, and not a finish made to imitate it. The same purity used in fine jewellery, for an enduring brilliance that will never tarnish or fade.
-
3
925 sterling silver accents
On the Museum of the Future and the Emblem of the UAE, sterling silver detailing is added for contrast, dimension, and depth.
-
4
The velvet setting
Each piece is mounted on a backdrop of luxurious velvet that enriches its depth and presence.
-
5
The frame
Framed in gold, white, bronze, or black, with a solid, substantial profile worthy of the work.
-
6
Certificate of authenticity
Each piece is issued a signed Certificate of Authenticity. The Spirit of the Union, our only limited edition, is individually numbered - 300 pieces per size.
-
7
Final inspection
Every piece is inspected by eye before it is released. Nothing ships unless it meets the standard we set.
